We work for you, and only for you.
Aliwood Equestrian is an independent advisor. We do not buy, sell, train, insure or transport horses. We find the right horse and the right professionals for you, and you contract with them directly.
The process
From your first message to the day the horse comes home.
Your request
Reach us through this site or by email. We reply personally within one business day and ask only what we need to understand you.
Our mandate
Before any work begins, we confirm the scope of our work, the flat fee, and that you pay any provider directly. Nothing proceeds until you agree.
The search
We look across the world for the best options for you, check them against the Aliwood standard, and negotiate on your behalf wherever appropriate.
Recommendation and introduction
You receive a short selection with our honest recommendation. Once you choose, we introduce you to the provider, who contracts with you directly.
Care, before and after
We stay in touch before and after, resolve anything that arises, and keep your preferences on record so you never have to repeat yourself.
Fees
One flat fee, agreed before we begin.
We never take a percentage of anything, and we never accept payment from the providers we recommend. You pay providers directly; our fee covers our advice, our search and our care.

Independence
We are paid only by our clients. No provider can pay to be recommended, and we recommend only what we would choose ourselves.
Confidentiality
We never name our clients and never share your details beyond what a provider needs to serve you.
Payment safety
Aliwood will never ask you to send money to a new or changed account by email alone. If anything seems unusual, contact us through a channel you already know before you pay.
Clear roles
Who does what, clearly.
- Aliwood Equestrian does not buy, sell, own, train, insure or transport horses, and is not a bloodstock agent or auctioneer.
- We name every agent, trainer, vet and shipper we introduce, and how they are paid, in writing before you commit.
- You contract with and pay sellers and providers directly. Our flat fee is separate and agreed in advance.
- Veterinary opinions come only from qualified veterinarians. We never give veterinary advice ourselves.
- Racing syndicates and partnerships are introduced to appropriately authorised managers; we do not advise on them as investments.
